Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, the applicant must: 

1. Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
2. Hold a Private Pilot Licence - Aeroplane (PPL-A) issued by Transport Canada;
3. Not hold a Night Rating (NR); and
4. Be 25 years of age or younger.

Note that all of the criteria must be met at the time of application.

Applicants are required to consult the attached document for information regarding applications to the 2024 Night Rating Scholarship. The document includes:

1. Application Guidelines and Required Documents;
2. Evaluation Grid;
3. Service Standards;
4. Expectations of Scholarship Recipients;
5. Confidentiality and Promotional Agreements.
