We aim to provide 10 Night Rating and 5 Multi-Engine Scholarships, valued at $4,000 and $8,000, respectively. These cover the first parts of commercial flight training, empowering young Canadian pilots to see their dreams take off! |

A Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) is required for pilots to enter the workforce. We aim to reduce financial barriers for young Canadians by providing them with scholarships covering the costs of the Night Rating and Multi-Engine Rating. |

The Wings of Opportunity Foundation was established in 2023 by a student pilot and entrepreneur after realizing how expensive flight training is for aspiring pilots.
In 2024, we raised over $70,000 and provided 13 Night Rating Scholarships, valued at $4,000 each, to very deserving young pilots across Canada. |

Learning for all
We are dedicated to inclusive and equitable quality education and our scholarship program promotes lifelong opportunities. Our initiatives help young Canadians receive affordable and quality education while increasing the number of youth that have relevant skills for employment and decent jobs. We do this by expanding the number of scholarships available for enrolment in higher education.

Quality employment
We promote productive employment and decent work for all. Our scholarship is a development-oriented initiative that leads to the creation of good jobs, creativity and innovation. We also strive to help young people launch their careers as professional pilots. Our scholarship initiative helps increase the proportion of youth in employment, education or training.

Our Alignment with Canada's House of Commons
Our activities are aligned with recommendations made by Canada's Parliament in the 2019 report entitled “Supporting Canada’s Flight Schools”.
